Quantity selection is GRAMS, and should be adjusted according to expected weight of your design. For some hints on common jewelry weights which may help you estimate more accurately, keep reading.

Select the main material that your jewelry will be made from.
Clicking on the material will drop down a menu which will contain a base price for the material per gram. Below this is a second drop down menu where you can select the karat (purity) that you would like to use. These are listed in terms of discounts or premiums to the base price.
  • A ballpark weight estimate for a medium sized ring or pendant usually weighs around 4-8 grams in 18K Gold.
  • A ballpark weight estimate for a medium sized pair of earrings tends to weight from 4-10 grams per pair in 18K Gold including findings.
  • Silver is around 33% lighter in weight than 18K gold.
Only select this if your design uses multiple materials such as some parts made out of Silver, & some parts made out of Gold.

Selecting the size will display a base price for the variety of selected gemstone per piece. That base price represents a standard quality that we are most commonly asked to deal with. Quantity selection is CENTIMETERS (approximately 0.4 inches). IE 45cm necklace chain should have QTY set to 45. If your used to working in inches, please convert measurements into CM by typing X Inches in Cm into Google.

The price is displayed as the price per gram for chains, then is adjusted by the weight per centimeter of the chain model you have selected. For example if a chain weighs .05 grams per centimeter then 95% is discounted from the price per gram to end up with the price per centimeter of chain (.05/1 = 5% of 1 gram = 95% deduction).

The price is displayed as the price per gram for clasps, then is adjusted by the weight of one clasp. For example if a particular model of clasp weighs 0.5 grams, then 50% is discounted from the price per gram. (0.5/1 = 50% of 1 gram = 50% deduction).

Select from the menu the primary finishing your piece will have.

If your piece is to be plated, please select the type of plating desired from the selection menu. The first "Base Price" selection is the type of jewelry you are making, (IE. Ring, Earring, Bangle, etc..). This will set a base price for plating. Following is selection for piece size will modify the base price by either increasing or decreasing it according to surface area.

White gold items should be Rhodium plated to create the platinum look that nearly everybody associates with white gold jewelry. Nearly all high karat white gold jewelry is Rhodium plated.

If your piece has multiple colors of plating (IE Two Tone), please select the secondary plating type here. Quantity selection is number of INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS with selected plating.

If you have a detailed design with multiple views, and your design does not require your product to be manufactured via 3D printing, you may select "Customer Provided Design". Otherwise, please engage our hand designing or CAD design services.

If you intend to engage our designing services for this product model, and you have no idea with regards to the following list of component usage, you may select the designing service that you would like to engage and leave the rest of the items blank. In this case our customer service reps will fill out estimates for the remaining items for you on design completion.

Development labor is the creation of unique imprints used to create your project.
